Good text, but not the most interesting

Good text, but not the most interesting. I know that's high expectations for a Diff. Eq. text, but I don't think it's impossible. That said, it covered most topics in sufficient detail that I didn't need other sources to understand. Publishers crammed the answers to exercises in the back which offers almost no help. There is a solutions manual available, I found it to be essential.
